I Passed!

Yeah! I am one step closer to being an actual lawyer. I scored higher than the required 85 on the Multi-state Professional Responsibility Exam. I'm ethical! Or at least ethical enough to be a lawyer...

It is a sad day when one must be excited about passing a test which measures his or her morale character.

All the test really proves is you know the answers to the questions being asked. Not whether or not you are a responsible lawyer. Take it or leave it, that's my view of the test.

Congrats!

Actually, anyone can pass the MPRE. Just select the answer that is most opposite to your natural greedy base instincts!

The REAL test is what you do after you are in practice. Like taking personal abuse from a judge on account of what your client did against you advice; or watching a wealthy prospective client walk out the door because you refuse to take an improper deduction on a tax return; or stopping at a liquor store en route to your office to get some empty boxes so that you can pack up your desk, instead of signing away on a questionable deal that the main partner of your firm is trying to get you into.

Fishfrog, I expect you to pass the REAL test!!!

Best of luck to you!
