Dawkins' Editorial

Check it out. I frequently attempt to engage in religious arguments with my friends, but I'm not particularly articulate. Since Dawkins is a significant influence on my beliefs, reading his editorial is probably more fruitful (but probably not as fun) than listening to me blather on.

This debate reminds me of a song. The Magnificent, by the One World Orchestra, featured a sample of some fellow saying the following line:
"A human against killing? That sounds like a junkie against dope."

Dawkins acknowledges that there are cultural issues bubbling all around these conflicts. A cynic might say that even without religion, people would have no trouble being thoroughly awful to each other.
