Don't go to law school
So says the Wall Street Journal. My advice is the opposite. Law school is fun, for the most part. There are certainly some aspects that are not very appealing, but on the whole, it's pretty great.

Massive class sizes, teachers who don't teach, exams that are crapshoots, curriculum that's mostly irrelevant, students who are mostly humps...yeah, I have to say that IMHO law school sucks ass.
But regardless, the article isn't about whether law school is fun, but rather about how the legal profession doesn't reward the vast majority of people, has massive turnover, etc.
About which I don't really know, but I suspect that once my loans are paid off, I'm going to be looking hard at my options.
I enjoy the larger class sizes. I get called on less that way. As for the teachers, there is no dispute. The vast majority are sub-par to inept as far as imparting knowledge effectively goes. I don't mind the self-learning, but I think it goes a long way in explaining the ABSOLUTELY ARBITRARY GRADING. Grading so inexplicable, it makes you question whether the professor even glances at the essays. As far as students, there are definitely some humps, but I think the majority of students are pretty good people. You for instance Matt, kick major ass.
Fishfrog, you need to take a vacation!! Law school is scrambling up your brains a bit too much!!
If you had used the adjective "interesting" instead of "fun" then you would be right on target. Law school IS interesting. Tell me that law school is interesting, worthwhile, useful, entertaining (as in farce) or valuable, but don't try to convince me that it is fun!
The only fun part about law school was graduation.
[In all fairness, it was just as well that I was in law school when I was because my wife was doing her medical internship and residency, so I wouldn't have had much of a social life otherwise.]
